Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for a challenging role in product development?
Kalmeijer Bakery Machines is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D department. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting technical analyses, developing concepts, and substantiating and elaborating on technical solutions for our innovative bakery machines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems for bakery machines.
- Integrate electrical and electronic components into mechanical designs.
- Conduct technical analyses and feasibility studies.
- Develop concepts and prototypes for new products and technologies.
- Substantiate and elaborate on technical solutions with detailed documentation and reports.
- Support production and maintenance teams with technical issues and improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (HBO level).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar R&D role.
- Experience with SolidWorks Mechanical & Electrical and the 3D Experience platform.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proactive and innovative mindset with attention to detail.
