Visitors

We record the details of individuals visiting our premises. We ask you to provide your name, phone number, your contact person within our company, as well as your time of arrival and departure. It allows us to know who is on-site in case of an emergency, to locate and contact you if needed, and to match lost items to their rightful owners. This data is retained for six months.

Visitors should also be aware that the exterior of some of our buildings is monitored by security cameras focused on entrances and parking areas. The processing of this data is also based on legitimate interests, aimed at preventing unauthorized access and (vehicle) theft. Footage from these cameras is retained for two weeks.

Photos and Videos

If you attend an event organized by us or visit our stand at a trade fair, we may take photos and videos, which we may use for commercial purposes in marketing materials, on our website, our social media channels, or in other forms of communication and publicity. Where possible, we will inform you if a photo or video of you has been taken, and you may always object immediately to its use for commercial purposes. In such cases, we will act accordingly by retaking the photo or video without you, or by making sure you are unrecognizable.

We invest significant time and care into these events and exhibitions to actively strengthen relationships with our customers, and we believe it is fair and legitimate to publish photos and videos from such occasions. Photos and videos are retained for no longer than three years. However, this does not affect the fact that media published within this period may remain available afterward. You always have the right to object to the publication of a photo or video in which you are recognizable, and we will always honor such a request.

Kalmeijer B.V., as the data controller, is solely responsible for the processing of all personal data collected via the website. We do not collect or process personal data through cookies we place. We only collect and process personal data that you voluntarily provide by submitting it through our website using one of the available forms. Personal data submitted via our website is processed on our behalf and under our instructions by our web hosting provider.

It is possible to download one or more free brochures about our products from our website. To do so, we ask for your name and email address. We will also use your personal data to contact you for commercial purposes. Within six months of downloading the brochure, we may send you an email to ask whether you are interested in our products or services. You will not be contacted more than three times.
